找呀找呀找找。。。包子

what a great feeling... jesus!

i am happy to be here!

Good old three wheel cars ..
good old negotiating for a pair of socks ...
good old gigantic buildings...
good old funy sun-hats and sun umbrellas...
good old Chang Bai Shan shitty cigarettes...
good old dirty restaurants with amazing foods...
good old driving like in the jungle...
good old cheap taxis....
good old weird asian commercials...

twenty years ago, people started rebuilding china. Today you see a big difference. There are Banks everywhere.. new streets, motorways, tall buildings.... and somehow it didn't become western... still stayed chinese. Construction workers everywhere... you can feel the country is growing

The bus took us over the mountains to the first lake.
What it was called.. i forgot... but you'll see some pictures soon. Sayram Hu or something like that.
You can still see Yurtas (Kasach nomad houses) everywhere.
This was the most dangerous place of our trip. We got out of the bus right next to the Yurtas..
Chinese Nomads started running after us... they were really insistent man... almost convinced us too.
"Stay in my tent ovenight... eat at my tent today.. it's gonna rain and you won't get far on the road .. stay at my tent tonight etc etc"

After a while they gave up.. and we walked until we couldn't see the Yurtas anymore.

And right there we stopped... next to the lake.. What a beautiful place.
It started geting dark so we pu up our own tent, 10 meters away from the water. It wasn't so cool as a Yurta tent but it was allright. We put our whole stuff inside the tent. At that moment both of us were thinking
"Fuck! they're going to rob us until we're naked."
I always wanted to hitchhike naked... just to see the reaction of the people.

That fucking tent man... it was made out of two layers. The overlyer was made out of somekind of hard material and everytime the wind blew.. it sounded like footsteps outside the tent.
We went to sleep at eleven... i fell asleep at four in the morning...fucking tent overlayer!
 we woke up at six.
The sun was just coming up.
What an amazing view! It was the bluest lake i have ever seen in my life. Mountains all around... Yurta people still sleeping. it was exactly the place i've always wanted to wake up to.

We came to BoLe by hitch-hiking in a truck.
BoLe - we had our very first chinese Meal. It was awesome.

From there on - to Urumqi .. in a Youth Hostel named White Birch Youth Hostel.
If you ever come here.. check it out. It has a cool common room.
I am never going to live in a Hotel. There, they always treat you with a distant politeness which i very dislike.
Every time we went to a hostel we haven't met any person that was unfriendly.
It's 4 o clock in the morning righ now... some chinese dude showed me some magic tricks with playing cards and with cigarettes. Pretty neat! The people here are really easy going and relaxed. They have a hilarious sense of humour.
We spoke chinese with them for almost two hours. I think they understood us... because they were saying yes all the time, even when we asked them how the winter is in Urumqi.
We met other people here, who drive their bikes for gigantic distances. There's a guy from Australia who came all the way here on his bike... his final destination will be South America.

Before the Hostel... you could smell our dirty clothes through the plastic bag and through the backpack...
We looked like two neanderthals.
After the Hostel ... we look like two shaved neanderthals with clean clothes and full stomachs.

i met a vietnamese girl ... from australia .. here in china in the hostel. she had the smallest nose i've ever seen. I've never heard an asian speaking english with an australian accent before. She sounded cool. She reminds me of somebody i know

Blogspot.. youtube.. facebook... are all forbidden in China. After a couple of hours we found a way to bypass this censorship shit.

We're going to spend another night in the hostel. Next stop the Donghuang Caves.......

The rest is history...

Au fost câteva chestii super tari: aia cu statul 8 ore la graniță, cu dormitul la lac și, cea mai tare cu discuția în chineză (cum e iarna?...yes)
